Sign Board Types Explained

  1. Our lowest price option is our Lightweight Foamboard.  Made from lightweight polystyrene with a paper layer front and back, these boards are very lightweight and ideal for event use.

    Perfect for welcome boards and seating plans for weddings and events due to their lower price point.  Not suitable for windy conditions or long term use.

  1. Correx board is lightweight and weather resistant.  Often used for estate agent signs and site boards due to its low price and weather resistance.  Suitable for use outdoors for up to six months.


    •  Foamex

  1. Foamex boards are great for signage use indoors and outdoors.  Weatherproof and available in 3mm, 5mm and 10mm thicknesses.  Made from expanded PVC, they are lightweight and easy to fix.  Typically lasts 3-5 years outdoors.

    • Dibond
  1. Dibond board is an aluminium composite board, made from a composite core sandwiched between two sheets of aluminium.  Strong and long lasting, it's perfect for long term signage, including road signs.
